Parent/Guardian Educational Program for College-Bound Students
Program Description:
The Partner Project’s educational program for families of college-bound students provides an overview of societal issues that includes unhealthy relationships and sexual assault on college campuses. The program’s content includes the Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), the roles that parents/guardians and students should have in keeping learning institutions safe from crime. Participants will receive information on the development of an action plan for open house and campus tour events. The program also contains discussions on pro-social bystanders and related intervention.
Note: The presentations are designed to foster discussion and interaction within the safety of the classroom. Each presentation is facilitated by a male & female which role model respectful and healthy relationship(s).
