Meet the staff and board members of The Partner Project.

John Amodeo, M.A.

 

John Amodeo, M.A. is a former N.Y.P.D Detective Commander and the Commanding Officer of the 77th and 75th Precinct Detective Squads in Brooklyn, New York and is the former Assistant Director of Public Safety at Molloy College. John holds a Master’s Degree in Criminology and Justice from St. John’s University. John is a Co-founder of The Partner Project

Teresa Aprigliano, Ed.D, RN.

Teresa Aprigliano, Ed.D, RN. is an Associate Dean in Nursing at Molloy College. She has clinical expertise in woman’s health. And her educational experience is in administrative leadership.  She holds a Doctor of Education degree in organizational administration from University of Sarasota. Teresa is a Co-founder of The Partner Project.

Dr. Noreen Giordano, DNP, MS, RN, LNC

Dr. Noreen Giordano, DNP, MS, RN, LNC is a doctoral prepared psychiatric nurse practitioner working with children, adolescents and adults.  She has worked in both the inpatient and outpatient mental health setting. She has treated patients with both acute and chronic mental illness.  She has experience working with patient populations that include: victims of domestic violence, perpetrators of domestic violence, victims of sexual trauma (rape/incest…), substance abuse, depression, anxiety (OCD/PTSD/Panic Disorders/Acute Stress Disorders), Bipolar and Schizophrenia.  She has been a registered nurse for 24 years and an advanced practice nurse practitioner for 17 years. Dr. Giordano is an Assistant Professor at Molloy College and has a private practice in Commack, NY. 

Mary Lane, MS, RN

Mary Lane, MS, RN received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Stony Brook University. In May 2014, she earned a Master of Science degree in Nursing Education from Molloy College.  Mary’s professional background includes 17 years in the pediatric intensive care unit of a leading children’s hospital.  Transitioning from hospital to private practice, she then spent seven years in pediatric pulmonary medicine, working closely and collaboratively with a pediatric pulmonologist.  For the past six years, Mary has been an instructor in the nursing laboratory at Molloy College.  Her commitment to The Partner Project stems from her conviction that the dangers of relationship violence must be at the forefront of collegiate awareness.  Mary’s extensive critical care background, coupled with one-to-one interaction of students in a formative evaluative setting, has fined tuned and heightened her sensitivity to those exhibiting signs or symptoms of intensified stress and personal crisis. 

Jacquie Martin-Rath

Jacquie Martin-Rath is currently the Assistant Director of Public Relations and Marketing for Molloy College. Prior to her time at Molloy, she was the Editor for the Rockville Centre Herald and the Marketing Director for the Herald Community Newspapers. Jacquie holds a B.S. in Management from SUNY Geneseo with a minor in Psychology. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge in the areas of marketing, PR, copy writing, event planning and general business practice. In addition to her professional experience Jacquie is a practicing Reiki Master (R.M.T.) focused on spiritual wellness and healing.
